The National Indigenous Peoples Day celebrations will have an effective way for people to travel.
The K’ómoks First Nation hosted event will have a free shuttle taking passengers to and from the Cowichan Valley Exhibitions Grounds.
The shuttle will pick up passengers at the Downtown Courtenay Exchange and the North Island College Exchange and will run every half an hour starting at 1:30 p.m.
The last shuttle will leave the Comox Valley Exhibition Grounds shortly after 9 p.m. after the event.

The event is scheduled for Friday, June 21, from 2 to 9 p.m.
