First season for Comox Valley – Campbell River ball hockey league a big hit

The C4 Ball Hockey League’s first season wrapped up last week, with organizers and players calling it a huge success.

Comox’s North Island Jets took first place, with an undefeated record. The Comox Valley Blazers were second, and Campbell River’s high school team the Seawolves were third.

The C4 includes teams from Courtenay, Comox, Cumberland, and Campbell River, the four Cs in the name. It was started as a new association this spring after the BC Ball Hockey Association was suspended.

The C4 is locally-governed, and has an operations agreement with the Vancouver Island Ball Hockey League.
