The RCMP have arrested a suspect in an assault at a local pub in Courtenay that was caught on video and posted to Facebook.
The video appears to show a homeless woman engaging in an argument with a restaurant employee before losing her cool and throwing punches and her and another unidentified woman.
The woman was restrained by another unidentified woman.
The Comox Valley RCMP received reports of an assault in the 200-block of 5th Street in Courtenay around 1 p.m. on July 16.

Members of the Comox Valley Bike Unit were dispatched to the area and identified, located, and arrested the suspect.
The suspect wasn’t named but RCMP said they recognized them, and only minor injuries were sustained from the incident.
