Construction is set to continue along Balmoral Avenue next week in Comox.
From August 19-21, Balmoral Avenue will be closed completely in between Donovan Drive and Torrence Road to accommodate the installation of the sewer forcemain pipe around the Brooklyn Creek Bridge.
Residents should be aware the stairs accessing Brooklyn Creek Park on Balmoral Avenue are closed due to safety.
Emergency services and Balmoral Avenue Residents will be the only ones provided access to the street while closed.

Residents are asked to allow themselves extra time for commuting, follow detour routes, and to obey speed limits and directions of traffic control personnel.
