Comox Valley dogs will have a refreshing way to wrap up the summer.
The Courtenay Outdoor Pool at Lewis Park is hosting a dog swim on Saturday, August 31 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Dogs of all sizes are allowed to attend but must be friendly and have proof of rabies vaccination.
Admission costs $5 with all proceeds being donated to the local SPCA.

The big pool will be the only pool open as the wading pool remains closed for maintenance.
Staff from the Vancouver Island Veterinary Clinic will be on site to support the animals, and Woofy’s Pet Foods will have pet-related giveaways.
During the swim, pet owners will not be allowed in the pool.
It will be the last event of the season before the pool closes for the winter months.
