Cumberland resident wins $8,627 from raffle at Ribfest event

A Cumberland resident walked away with over $8,600 following a raffle prize this past weekend. 

Cindy Patterson took part in the Rotary Club of Cumberland’s 50/50 raffle during Comox Valley Ribfest at Cumberland Village Park. 

At the event, Patterson would win $8,627.50 from the raffle, making her the biggest winner of the Club’s fundraiser, according to the club. 

They say the funds will be used to support Beaufort Family Health Society and Dolly Parton Imagination Library Project.
