Conservative Candidate has plans to tackle issues in Courtenay-Comox

98.9 Jet FM/My Comox Valley Now is reaching out to all of the candidates in the October 19 provincial election to ask for their positions on the major issues.

Courtenay-Comox BC Conservative candidate Brennan Day says housing affordability is the number one issue for people in Comox, affecting renters and first-time buyers.

Builders face requirements for outside consultants and constantly moving goal posts for building requirements and we need to look at holistic solutions that empower the trades to build faster and more affordably.”

Day says for the rising cost of living, they aim to cut the carbon tax to lower the price of everyday goods and services.
