Leaders from both the BC NDP and BC Conservative parties are continuing their efforts to win key Vancouver Island districts.
Both NDP Leader David Eby and BC Conservative Leader John Rustad are scheduled to make campaign stops across Vancouver Island today.
Eby has multiple stops scheduled today, first stopping in Nanaimo this morning, and having scheduled stops in Ladysmith, Duncan, and Victoria this afternoon.
Meanwhile Rustad will be in Nanaimo tonight for a campaign rally, being joined by all his MLA candidates across Vancouver Island.
According to the BC Conservative’s website, Rustad will talk about the cost-of-living crisis, expanding BC’s economy, and making streets safer.
The event happens at 6:00 p.m. at the Coast Bastion Hotel in Nanaimo on October 16, and anyone interested in attending is encouraged to RSVP on their website.
Both parties continue to make last ditch efforts to win over key spots on the Island ahead of the October 19 election.
