The City of Courtenay is inviting you and your family to a party and parade this Halloween.
The City has announced the Courtenay Halloween Parade and Party is returning this year, with several activities scheduled for residents to take part in.
In the downtown core, there will be the Trick or Treat Parade, where kids can go trick or treating at businesses on 4th, 5th, and 6th streets. The parade starts at 4 p.m.
After the parade is the Halloween Party, where you can play carnival games, do some arts and crafts, use a photo booth, and grab some treats.
The party is happening in the Lewis Centre, running from 5 to 7 p.m. Admission is free for the party.
The City adds there will also be a Haunted House to wrap up the day. It takes place in the LINC Youth Centre, and runs from 6 to 8 p.m.
They encourage drivers to be patient and alert while on the road as children will be walking around downtown.
