Halloween night proved to be busy as anticipated for the Comox Valley RCMP.
A total of 69 calls for service were made, with traffic complaints being the top one with 10 cases.
Nine requests to check someone’s wellbeing were made, as well as eight calls about suspicious circumstances and five bylaw complaints about noise and fireworks being set off.
Five calls were made each about disturbances, reports of lost and found property, and reports of unwanted people.
Four mischief calls were made, as well as three calls to other agencies, theft, and missing people calls.
Lastly, two reports of breaking and entering, breaches of court ordered conditions, and threat reports were.
Officers were also out handing out candy across the Valley and helping traffic control in Comox.
