The Village of Cumberland is putting together a parade and service for Remembrance Day.
The Village says Royal Canadian Legion Branch No.28 will be holding a Cumberland Remembrance Day Service on Monday, with the focus on thanking all who have served and sacrificed for Canada.
This comes after they raised the Legion Poppy Flag on Tuesday to kick off this year’s Poppy Campaign.
The service takes place before 11:00 a.m.
Along with the service, they say a Remembrance Day Parade will be taking place as well, with Dunsmuir Avenue from Third to Fifth Streets to be closed from 10:00 a.m. to noon.

They ask you to save parking spaces for those with disabilities on Fourth Street adjacent to the post office.
