A new board president and vice president have been elected to the Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation.
The foundation made this announcement on Wednesday, saying that Susan Auchterlonie was elected as president, succeeding Bill Anglin who finished his term at the end of August.
With Auchterlonie’s six years of serving on the foundation’s board of directors, co-executive director Rhonda Stevens says Susan brings a deep understanding of the Valley’s needs.
“Susan is an impressive leader, who’s knowledge and experience in community service will guide our organization toward continued growth and success,” said Stevens.
The foundation says Sandy Dreger is the new vice president, with Stevens adding Dreger brings a lot of knowledge and experience in healthcare into this new job.
Before becoming president, Auchterlonie worked as executive director of the Comox Valley Community Foundation and was part of the North Island College Foundation.
Auchterlonie says she is delighted to work with the community in this role and looks forward to continuing the foundation’s momentum.
Both Auchterlonie and Dreger took their jobs at the end of August and October.
