Local businesses and non-profit organizations in Courtenay and Comox are encouraged to share their insights in a new survey.
The Municipal Business Initiative Survey is a part of the Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce’s Business Retention and Expansion Program and is meant to help shape strategies that foster economic growth.
Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce Tracey Clarke said this survey is their commitment to addressing needs in Courtenay and Comox.
“Local businesses and organizations are the backbone of our economy, and their input is critical to creating an environment where they can thrive.”
It’s the second survey in recent months from the Chamber of Commerce, with the first one being for Electoral Area C that started back in August.
The survey covers market expansion, workforce development, and access to business support services.
Feedback is encouraged to help the Chamber implement initiatives which will shape economic development in the future which will benefit everyone.
After completing the survey, participants will be entered into draws for local business cards valued at $300 and $200, and a one-year Chamber membership.
The survey is open now and there is no date as to when it will close.
