Transit Elf to surprise riders for Transit Rider Appreciation Day in the Comox Valley

The Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) will thank transit users in the Comox Valley.

The CVRD announced November 29, 2024, is Transit Rider Appreciation Day and the Transit Elf will surprise riders on transit exchanges to offer gifts to riders.

Manager of Transit and Facilities for the CVRD Michael Zbarsky said the elf will also talk to riders to find out how they use the transit system and what they like about it.

“With the cost of vehicle ownership constantly rising, transit is a great way for residents to get around while saving money.”
