As the Canada Post strike continues, Comox mail will not be processed at this time.
In a public notice from earlier today, the Town says because of the strike, mail will not be processed while the strike continues, affecting mailings to and from residents and businesses.
This means a delay in delivery for important documents, notices, payments, and other items.
In the meantime, the Town says cheque payments in property of Canada Post will be considered late if not given by the Town on December 31. They say payment can be done through online banking, where if you need support, call them at 250-339-2202.
For picking up cheques, that can be done in Town Hall from Accounts Payable. They add to send invoices around this time, email [email protected]
