Royston residents not getting garbage & recycling calendars by mail

Those living in Royston won’t get their garbage and recycling calendars by mail this year.

That comes from the Comox Valley Regional District, saying because of the Canada Post Strike, the Royston garbage and recycling calendars for 2025 will not be mailed to residents.

However, there are different ways for you to collect these calendars, according to the district.

One option is to pick them up in person either at the district main office on 770 Harmston Avenue, the Royston Gas-N-Go at 3922 Island Highway South, Royston Mini-Mart at 3824 Hayward Avenue, Royston Roasting Co. & Coffee House at 3904 Island Highway South, or Roy’s Towne Pub at 4000 Island Highway South.

The district says another option is to download them online, which can be done here.

If you can’t go pick up the calendar in-person, they encourage you to call them at 250-334-6016.
