A 13-year-old girl and her family have one of the Comox Valley Search and Rescue (CVSAR) dogs to thank for locating her.
The girl went missing sometime Tuesday night, and was found early Wednesday morning thanks to Delta, one of the CVSAR’s search dogs.
SAR crews coordinated their search with the Comox Valley RCMP, and Delta helped play an important role in allowing the search to end positively.
In a Facebook post, CVSAR said they’re grateful for their collaboration and teamwork with the RCMP.
