A local organization hopes a policy is made for short-term rentals in Comox.
In a delegation, Short Term Rental Hosts is asking mayor and council to build a short-term rental policy and establish language for the town.
Darcy Walters, representing the organization, says it’s a time sensitive request as without language in place, short term hosts would be blocked from registering with BC.
This comes as the BC government recently launched a short-term rental registry to help provide more long-term homes for people.

This request will be part of the upcoming council meeting, set for Wednesday at 5:00 p.m.
