There’s more snow coming to Vancouver Island tonight, says Environment Canada.
A special weather statement says a low pressure system is moving to the western part of the Island this afternoon, and will pass over the rest of the Island this evening. Snow flurries will continue overnight and into early Saturday morning.
Snowfall amounts will be highly variable, but 2 to 4 centimetres can be expected with local amounts exceeding 5 centimetres.
Locally heavy flurries may bring reduced visibilities. Drivers should allow extra time for travel and should be prepared to adjust driving to meet quickly changing road conditions.
