Temporary vessel replacement for Denman – Buckley Bay

Residents will soon use a temporary ferry when travelling the Denman Island West – Buckley Bay Route.

In a service notice, BC Ferries announced they will temporarily replace the regular ferry for that route with the Quinitsa. The replacement is to let crews finish vessel maintenance as part of summer planning.

They say the change isn’t expected to affect operations while crews work.

The Quinitsa will run from March 4 to 21.
