Comox Valley RCMP are asking for your help in finding a missing man.
On social media, police say Gareth Rees was last seen this morning at 2:50 a.m. on the 4300-block of East Road on Denman Island.
They add he was visiting from South Island and likely doesn’t know his way around.
Media Relations officer Constable Monika Terragni says they have several officers, including police dog and air services looking for him.
“Ground Search and Rescue has also been mobilized and are heading to Denman Island,” said Terragni.
The 32-year-old is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, has a medium build, dark brown hair and beard, and was last seen wearing blue jeans and a black long sleeve t-shirt.
If you’ve seen him or know where he is, you are asked to not approach him and call Comox Valley RCMP at 250-338-1321.
