Comox Valley RCMP are looking for witnesses to a fire from earlier this year.
The fire took place on the 1500-block of Skeena Drive in Comox at 11:50 p.m. on February 23, resulting in firefighters responding at the scene, eventually controlling the flames.
Constable Monika Terragni says while some time has passed since the incident, officers are actively pursuing leads and examining all available evidence.
“As a part of this process, we are now releasing images of an arson suspect in the hopes someone may recognize them or have information that could assist in the investigation,” said Terragni.
“We acknowledge that the images are not of the highest quality but even with these limitations, we are hopeful someone may recognize something familiar – whether it be the individuals clothing, build, gait, or general appearance.”
