Two popular Comox events are partnering up for one full weekend of events.
The Town of Comox announced Festival Weekend, featuring both Filberg Festival and Nautical Days, will take place August 1-4.
Comox Mayor Nicole Minions said the celebration is the largest community event on the schedule and they’re excited for another year.
“By coming together under the Festival Weekend banner, Comox Nautical Days Festival and Filberg Festival showcase just how much our community can offer when we work together.”
To make it easier to participate in all activities, a shuttle service will run throughout the weekend connecting both events.
Together, the events will bring 233 artisans, 72 musicians, and increase tourism in the area.
Executive Director of the Filberg Heritage Lodge and Park Association Linda Trevor said they’re excited to combine the two iconic events.
“It’s a true celebration of everything Comox has to offer, from our vibrant arts scene to our beautiful waterfront and strong community spirit.”
Filberg Festival will run August 1-3, while Nautical Days will run the 2-4.
