In the early morning hours of September 7th the Comox Valley RCMP were called to the Puntledge campground for a report of a deceased male.
Police officers arriving on scene located a 63 year old male lying on the ground by a trailer.
CPR was performed until the arrival of the BC Ambulance but attempts at resuscitation were negative and the man was pronounced dead.
This investigation is continuing in order to determine the cause of death, and police would like to speak to anyone from the campground that may have information that would assist in this investigation.
