RCMP confirm a 22 year old suspect connected to the Amber Alert in Alberta and BC has been arrested.
Two-year-old Hailey Dunbar-Blanchette has still not been found.
She hasn’t been seen since early Monday morning and the Amber Alert remains in place.
The girls father was found dead in their home in Blairmore, a small town near the Alberta-B-C border.

A homicide investigation continues.
*** AMBER ALERT *** Blairmore, AB RCMP is requesting assistance in locating abducted female child
aged 2 years from the city. Possibly traveling with suspect in a full sized white van with aerial buggy
whip on the back no license available. DO NOT APPROACH. Call 911.
The Amber Alert has been extended another 24 hours at the request of Alberta RCMP.
