Island Health has issued advisories for two areas of the Puntledge River after testing showed high levels of bacteria in the water.
Medical Health Officer Charmaine Enns says swimmers are being advised to avoid Puntledge Park beach and the Stotan Falls area.
Signage has been posted in the area to warn swimmers.
