19 Wing Comox has officially launched their 2014 United Way Campaign, and base spokesperson Captain Trevor Reid says they already have a full slate of fundraising events teed up and ready to go.
Talk about going above and beyond, in last year’s campaign they raised over 48-thousand dollars…this year the campaign goal is pegged at even more!
Captain Reid says the base raises funds for the Central and Northern Vancouver Island United Way, supporting numerous groups all over the North Island region.
