The City of Courtenay is seeking community input on the 2017 city budget. CAO David Allen says a survey can be filled out online. Allen notes it only takes about 5 to 8 minutes to complete and allows residents to voice what services they’d like their property taxes to go towards.
Allen says some services include policing, arts and culture and recreation. He notes this is strongly connected to asset management, and understanding what citizens are really looking for from the city.
The survey can be completed through the city’s website. It will be available until November 18th.
