The Comox Valley Art Gallery is looking to boost up its annual funding.
Spokesperson Sharon Carston was in front of Courtenay council this week. She says the Gallery is looking to increase their funds by $20,000 from $65,000 a year to $85,000.
She notes the funding would support the growing number of programs offered at the Gallery.
Carston presented the Gallery’s case to Courtenay council this week. The city will review the funding before deciding whether or not to approve it.
