BC is looking to find new markets for the province’s agrifood products.
The government has created a development strategy to market seafood and agrifood products around the world. Minister of Agriculture, Norm Letnick, says the goal is increase exports to current markets and look to new markets to expand.
Letnick notes that while the United States remains the biggest market for export, China, Japan and South Korea are growing markets for BC agrifoods.
