The Royal Canadian Air Force is assisting in transporting Vimy Flight Association aircraft out of 19 Wing Comox.
Captain Brent Handy says they’re getting set to travel to France for the Vimy 100th Anniversary celebrations. “The aircraft [were] partially disassembled and [loaded up] onto a C17 Goldmaster cargo aircraft from the RCAF…”, says Handy.
Handy says crews will be attending a series of tributes to veterans and following various flight paths when they arrive in France for the Vimy 100th Anniversary celebrations.
