Textbook response from lost valley hiker key to her survival

A missing Comox Valley woman did exactly what she needed to do, to emerge from the ordeal safe and sound late this morning.

That from Paul Berry with Comox Valley Ground Search and Rescue on 27 year old Kendra Harder being found alive in the highly dangerous Medicine Bowls area.

Berry says Harder didn’t panic, despite being lost in a wooded area with fast moving water flows…

Harder was tired, cold and wet but for the most part came of the ordeal relatively unscathed.
