BC Hydro crews are asking residents to steer clear of Stotan Falls starting Thursday, April 6th with work lasting through Monday, April 10th.
Spokesperson Stephen Watson says crews are increasing water flows in the Puntledge River system. Watson says this comes as the Puntledge generating station has been out of service.
Watson notes it should be back online next Monday. “…during that time we’ve been providing fish migration flows – 2 days, once a week…at the same time we’re trying to manage through some of the rains we’ve had, nothing significant but the water flows are adding up”, he says.
Watson says residents should be also be cautious around the Nymph Falls area while the higher flows are in place.
