Public health care wasn’t the only thing discussed at a town hall style meeting put on by the Council of Canadians in Courtenay recently, as Gwyn Frayne, a local activist who passed away to lung cancer recently, was remembered in front of a crowd of hundreds.
The meeting was put on by the Council of Canadians, and National Chairperson Maude Barlow was there, sitting on a panel. Barlow says she knew Frayne well, and she will be missed.
Barlow says, she loved Gwyn Frayne.
Frayne passed away on October 16th.
