With Halloween this friday, BC Transit is sending out some safety tips for trick or treaters, as well as drivers.
BC Transit Spokesperson Meri-Beth Burton says, in case you didn’t know, a BC Transit bus is a safe place for a child to go to.
Burton also advises that drivers pay extra attention behind the wheel, as there will be plenty of goblins and ghouls running around.
She says to expect the unexpected, as kids will be very excited and may forget basic pedestrian safety rules, like looking both ways before they cross the street.
