Halloween a quiet night for fire crews

Comox Valley residents were on their best behavior on Halloween night, according to the local fire departments.

In Courtenay, Deputy Fire Chief Kurt MacDonald says, they didn’t have many calls on the night.

In Comox, Fire Chief Gord Schreiner says, it was pretty much the same story.

Schreiner and MacDonald both say it was a quiet night for fireworks as well, as many people adhered to the bylaws in the respective municipalities.
