A wind warning is in effect for East Vancouver Island.
Environment Canada says the first big fall storm will sweep across the region Sunday.
Gusts of up to 70 km/h are expected but the winds will ease later in the afternoon.
Environment Canada is keeping an eye on the situation and will issue more updates as needed.
