Local Mounties continue investigating a crash involving a vehicle and a bike on Fitzgerald Avenue in Courtenay early Monday evening. Goat News spoke with RCMP Constable Don Sinclair, who says it appears the female cyclist veered into the path of a van.
The bicyclist has been airlifted to Victoria hospital with serious injuries. Sinclair offers up some tips for both drivers and cyclists as the storm season continues.
