The Comox Valley RCMP responded to an incident involving a body discovered in the tree surrounded area between Cliffe Avenue and Fitzgerald, close to the 7-11 convenience store, on Monday afternoon.
At around 3:30 PM, reports suggested that a body was found in the area. Hours later, police were continuing to examine the scene. A stretcher and silver body container could be seen coming out of the area.
No further details are available at this time.
