COURTENAY, B.C- One man is in custody, after a stolen vehicle was recovered by police while stuck in traffic.
According to a news release from the Comox Valley RCMP, officers responded to a call about a stolen vehicle on December 18. While they were headed to the call, the stolen vehicle was found, stuck in traffic.
After officers conducted a traffic stop, the man inside the vehicle was arrested. The 46-year old resident of Langley, B.C., is now facing charges of possession of stolen property and obstruction. He also had outstanding warrants for his arrest.
He is being held in custody by police.
