COURTENAY, B.C- A snowfall warning is in effect for the Comox Valley.
According to Environment Canada, a weather system over the south coast has brought in “moderate to heavy” levels of snow over East Vancouver Island. Above 10 centimetres of snow is expected, before the snow tapers off late in the evening.
Drivers should prepare for quickly changing travel conditions, with rapidly accumulating snow making travel difficult.
