Comox Valley RCMP launched an investigation into a commercial break and enter back on February 17, after a report from a Cumberland based construction company their office had been broken into. During the initial report, the company’s owner thought the only missing items were a computer and back up hard drive.Â
However on March 4th the owner of the business reported an additional stolen item had been identified, a company debit card. Further investigation by local officers revealed that over $30,000 in fraudulent transactions had occurred with the stolen card.
Mounties confirm 24 year old Carson Roy GRAHAM as the suspect in these transactions, and he was arrested on March 28th, 2014. He is now facing multiple criminal charges relating to the fraudulent use of the debit card.
Graham was remanded into custody, and is set to appear next on April 3rd in Courtenay Provincial Court.
