The Association of Vancouver Island and Coastal Communities Annual Conference and AGM is just around the corner, and Comox Mayor Paul Ives says one of the key resolutions up for consideration calls for the toughening up of fire suppression measures.
Ives says he looks forward to the debate on that, when the conference kicks off shortly.
The 2014 AVICC Conference and AGM goes from April 11 to April 13 in the Parksville Qualicum area. The group represents Vancouver Island and Sunshine Coast communities.
