Looks like a major, 2-million dollar plus deficit will force the Comox Valley School District to cut the ranks of local teachers, along with support staff.
That from Comox District Teachers Association President Steve Stanley.
Stanley says District 71 officials continue to work on a plan in dealing with that fiscal shortfall.
