The high streamflow advisory for the Campbell River area has come to an end.
B.C.’s River Forecast Centre had originally put a flood watch in place on Sunday for Eastern Vancouver Island.
The flood watch was then downgraded yesterday before being called off entirely today. It covered the Tsolum and Oyster rivers and tributaries around Campbell River, Courtenay, and Comox.
The recent heavy rains had led to higher water levels.
