Judas Icarus is the king of Pure Wrestling and proved it over the Canada Day long weekend in both Courtenay and Campbell River.
In a Canada Day card in Campbell River, Icarus defeated Internet Champion Nathan Legacy to remain Pure Wrestling Champion.
This comes on the heels of Icarus successfully defending his title by besting Bishop in a table match at the K’omoks Band Hall on Friday, June 29 in Courtenay.
In the undercard at the K’omoks Band Hall, Nathan Legacy captured the Internet title by beating Eddie Osbourne and Krofton, Haviko defeated Brett Matthews, Cremator Van Slasher downed Eli Surge, and in women’s action, Riea Van Slasher got past Cat Power.
