COURTENAY, B.C- BC Liberal party leader Andrew Wilkinson was in Courtenay Friday to begin the search for a Courtenay-Comox candidate.
According to the Comox Valley Record, Wilkinson attended a riding association breakfast Friday morning and mentioned that they should start the search for a candidate for the next provincial election, sooner rather than later.
Wilkinson also said that they plan to use MLA Don McRae to help lead the search for a new Liberal candidate for the Courtenay-Comox riding.
The next provincial election won’t be until 2021, but Wilkinson says they would like to get a head start, and hopes to win the riding when the election does take place.
