The city of Courtenay’s holding the line at a tax increase pegged at 3.18%.

He says there are some concerns weighing in on his mind when it comes to other budgetary plans in the Valley.
He adds council has also discussed city infrastructure plans going forward.
He says that if they don’t maintain city streets and roads, it’s a ticking time bomb and a cost that will affect future generations and future taxpayers.
