With Family Day just around the corner, Courtenay Recreation is teaming up with Comox Valley Arts to host a free Art Basket Challenge.
It’s a great way to bring the family together and work on a fun project.
This week, the city is encouraging you to grab a basket full of art material, and use your brain power to create some form of art creation to share with the community.
The first 200 families who sign up will get a basket full of art supplies to use, but you don’t need one to participate.
Once you have created your masterpiece, the city wants you to share your artwork via email to have it featured on the city’s Family Day Facebook event
In order you get a basket, you have to sign up before Thursday.
