Air Canada service takes flight out of Comox

The roaring of the engine signified a historic moment at the Comox Valley Airport.

To some, it might have seemed like any other flight, but to YQQ staff and passengers, it was much more than that.

Air Canada service is back at the airport, with flights to destinations in Asia, Australia, Europe and North America through Vancouver.

YQQ CEO Fred Bigelow says this is “huge” for the airport.

Bigelow adds this will bring in all kinds of capacity.
